1. Take a Screenshot in Samsung using Power Button
The first method of taking a screenshot on your Samsung phone is the old tried and true way of the physical buttons, which is volume down and power. It is not a press and holds, basically press both of them at the same time. Make sure you don’t hit volume down first because, If you hit this one just right before the power you might get your volume rocker inside of that screenshot.
Just follow the below steps:-
- Go on your content you want to screenshot.
- Press the power and volume down buttons for one second at the same time, and release them.
- A popup appears on your screen at the bottom, here you can see your screenshot is taken, you can share it.
- You can also edit the screenshot by using the center button.
2. Take a screenshot in Samsung using Palm Swipe
If your physical button not working or you are not able to use the physical buttons to take a screenshot, you can do a palm swipe to capture your screen. so if you hold the phone or if it’s on a table you swipe from one end to the other with the side of your palm. You can do it from the left to the right or from the right to the left. if yours is not working or if it’s not turned on what you want to do just follow the below steps:-
- Go to Settings and scroll down
- Tap on Advanced Features
- Scroll down and tap on Motion and Gestures

3. Take a screenshot in Samsung using Edge Panel
The third method is the best way to take a screenshot on your Samsung mobile because it’s built into the phone. You can do it quietly because you don’t need to download another application, don’t have to do it by voice or hit physical buttons. So this one is my favorite way to take a screenshot. To do that just follow the below steps:-
- Go on your content you want to screenshot
- Swipe the edge panel to the left side of your screen
- Tap on Take Screenshots

If you want to take a screenshot for a fixed area of your mobile screen, these methods help you to do that. Here, you’re able to customize what you want to take a screenshot of and maybe you don’t want to save it to your phone or just want to send it off inside of the Twitter verse or inside of Instagram. It is a way that you can either share it with other people you can move back and it’s not cluttering your gallery like all the other screenshots. 5. Take a screenshot in Samsung using Bixby Voice
The next way of taking screenshots is by voice-activated and it’s gonna be Bixby. You can also do that from google assistant. First of all, go inside in your Samsung folder or wherever Bixby is located. When you open up Bixby, go to the top of a left-hand side and then on the top right-hand side, Tap on the Settings button, and tap on voice wake up. You can customize sensitivity and put it as medium or high and if you do need to improve your voice wake up accuracy. Just follow the below steps:-

- Say Hi, Bixby or Long press the power button to launch Bixby.
- Say, Take a Screenshot.
